FAQs

Here’s a list of the questions we hear the most often. If you don’t see yours here, no problem — just contact us here and we’ll figure it out!

I just placed an order. When should I expect it to arrive?

All packages are shipped via USPS first-class mail and should be shipped out within 7-10 business days from the time of purchase. We process every order ourselves and do our best to get them out quickly. Exceptions include pre-orders and special ‘limited time’ purchase windows. With all pre-orders, we place orders after the sale window closes, thus your items will ship 7-10 business days from the end of this order window, not your specific date of purchase. Also, we cannot rush or overnight packages so plan ahead and order early!

There is something wrong with my order. Who should I contact to get it fixed?

Contact us here and let us know the issue, and we’ll do our best to square it away quickly. Please allow 48 hours for a response, keeping in mind our business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., CST, Monday to Friday. Also, because our inventory is constantly changing, we have a strict 30-day return/exchange policy from the time your order ships to you. This means, from the date of your order shipping, you have 30 days to return or exchange the item you purchased. No exceptions. If the item was a gift, please let us know who purchased the gift for you, so that we can process it accurately for an exchange.

I would like to return/exchange my order. What is your policy?

We have a strict 30-day return/exchange policy. This means, from the date of your order you have 30 days to return or exchange any unworn or unused apparel or flowers you purchased. Items worn, washed, sweat in are not able to be returned or exchanged. No exceptions. If the item was a gift, please let us know who purchased the gift for you, so that we can process it accurately for an exchange.

Can I sell your Tell Her products in my store? And do you offer any items at wholesale prices?

Yes! Contact jen@fellowflowers.com and describe your business and how you’d like to incorporate Tell Her products into your retail store.

I am a business owner and I’d like to use Fellow Flowers messages and words for my products, is this possible?

Unfortunately, no, you are not able to use Mel Charbonneau’s quotes on products of your own without our permission. Also, slight modification of her quotes or flower imagery as it relates to running and fitness is still not okay as per our federal trademark protections. If you are unsure if you’re violating intellectual property rights or trademark protections, please contact us directly! If you are interested in licensing, we would need to know more about your business to answer this. Contact us here with your business opportunity.

I’d like to use a Fellow Flowers quote on a personal product I’m creating. Is this possible?

We appreciate knowing when any of Mel Charbonneau’s original authored quotes are being used outside of the products we create. If it’s a personal project and authored correctly, we’ll rarely object to this type of usage, but please contact us here.

Can I take one of Mel Charbonneau’s original quotes and have someone else print it on a shirt or create a product with it?

No. Sadly, we’ve seen many of Mel’s quotes taken and used without permission, and it’s not okay. Also, slight modification of our quotes or flower imagery as it relates to running and fitness is still not okay. If you are unsure if you’re violating intellectual property rights or trademark protections, please contact us directly here

Can I make and sell my own running flowers? Either personally or as a business?

No. Since launching in 2012, this business and community has grown into a national movement and now extends beyond just the sport of running and into daily inspiration for active women. We have created a community under the FELLOW FLOWERS® brand, distinguished by the many colored flowers and the stories that accompany them. The making and selling of flowers and using the language and stories that resemble the FELLOW FLOWERS brand is strictly prohibited. Further, there are currently no authorized wholesale partners given permission to sell the flowers and/or look-alike versions of the flowers and messages that represents the FELLOW FLOWERS brand. If you are purchasing flowers for the purposes of running or fitness-related activity anywhere outside of the official FELLOW FLOWERS website, it is violating our legal protections.

Beyond the legal reasons for this, there is also this: The farther away women are from the origin of where these flowers and their meanings come from, the greater the distance they are from the bigger story and community. We believe that you diminish the story when you detach it from the person who wrote or created it.
