WELCOME
Welcome to the Made to Move Women’s Race Series, coming to Madison, Wisconsin, and beyond on June 12, 2021!
This new race experience produced by Fellow Flowers celebrates competitive spirit, goals, connection and women owning their stories.
We know that women want a race that goes beyond finisher medals. Women want connection. They want the hard work they’ve been putting toward their goals to mean something.
Made to Move honors not just race day, but each woman’s journey to it. We champion every woman’s unique story, and support her as she claims, owns and celebrates it across our finish line and beyond.
Made to Move — in its inaugural year and every one to come — actively works to remove barriers that often prevent women from running and racing. It is Made to Move’s mission to ensure that every woman, no matter her ability, background or economic status, feels welcome, safe and able to show up — as her full and true self — and participate in the race and its lineup of events.
THE RACE
The race will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2021, with 10K, 5K and 1-mile courses.
This year, Made to Move is being held virtually for all distances, but you will not have to race alone, unless that is your preference.
We are hosting a smaller-scale in-person 10K in Madison, Wisconsin, on a beautiful looped course in the UW Arboretum.
And from virtual teams inspired by the Fellow Flowers signature flowers to small-group meet-ups held across the country on race day, there are lots of opportunities for connection and support leading up to and on race day! And lots of ways to share your experience.

RACE DAY MEET-UPS
No matter how you have trained, when race day comes, you don’t have to run alone. Women will be hosting small-group meet-ups in cities and towns around the country, allowing women to safely gather and run — while abiding by all local health guidelines.

MADE TO LIFT
We are committed to being part of the solution for breaking down the barriers that prevent and exclude women from running and racing and to becoming a rubric for what’s possible in the race industry as we rethink traditional models of how it’s always been done.
Read more about Made to Lift and how each Made to Move registration will support this fund.
CHARITY PARTNERS
We are only stronger when we work together, and we are thrilled to be partnering with two organizations leading conversations and change on issues of women and motherhood.
&Mother, led by Olympian Alysia Montaño, is dedicated to breaking the barriers that limit a woman’s choice to pursue and thrive in both career and motherhood. And Every Mother Counts, founded by maternal health advocate Christy Turlington Burns, is working to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere.
As the charity partners of our race, both organizations will receive support from Made to Move, with the opportunity for women to make additional donations. Learn more at andmother.org and everymothercounts.org.
